Larkin Partners with TCAPS in "Score 20"By Business News Traverse City - The Larkin Group of Traverse City recently announced a new partnership with the Traverse City Area Public School (TCAPS) system in which a percentage of their commission for new policies will be donated back to the schools. The sponsorship program allows for The Larkin Group to give back 20 percent of its commission to TCAPS on all new auto, home and business policies established with their agency when the “Score 20” program is mentioned. The switching of insurance providers is not a requirement for participants. Steve Merten, principal and commercial risk manager of The Larkin Group, feels it will help support the schools. “We have spent the past nine months working closely with TCAPS and the Michigan Insurance Commissioner’s office to confirm the compliance of this program as well as the significant revenue generating opportunities for TCAPS,” he said. “The end result is the ‘Score 20’ program that can be embraced by the entire Grand Traverse region.” Alison Arnold, director of marketing communications & volunteer services at TCAPS, believes it will have a positive impact on TCAPS students.
