TC's Appia Communications in the Fast Lane - Again
TRAVERSE CITY – Appia Communications, a provider of managed communications and network services headquartered in Traverse City, has been named to CRN Magazine’s Fast Growth 100 list for the third year in a row. Companies on the list average a two-year growth of 130 percent.
"We are very pleased to again be honored on this year's Fast Growth 100 list,” says Victor von Schlegell, president of Appia Communications. “This award is a testament to the hard work of our channel partners and technology team.”
Acclaim for Appia’s success isn’t new: The company has been named one of America's fastest-growing private companies by Inc. Magazine every year since 2007, and one of the top managed service providers in the world by MSPmentor, the world's top blog and news site about managed service providers, since 2009. Last year, Appia was named one of Michigan’s “50 Companies to Watch” by the Edward Lowe Foundation.
Headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan, Appia serves markets nationwide, with operations in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis and Washington D.C.
von Schlegell credits the company’s success to its commitment to delivering services that lower customer costs and complexity – a commitment that translates to increasing demand for the company’s hosted VoIP, SIP trunking and cloud services.
The 2011 CRN Fast Growth category and special awards will be presented during CRN’s annual conference, October 5 - 6 in Miami. BN
