Big Apple Bagels opens on South Airport

TRAVERSE CITY – A new breakfast/lunch option is now available on South Airport Road.

Rick and Teri Goodman opened Big Apple Bagels in the new retail building next to Rolston Fine Home Furnishings on March 19.

The cafe features 23 varieties of premium fresh-baked bagels, as well as flavored cream cheeses and specialty coffees.

The Goodmans offer three “breakfast on a bagel options,” including Bacon & Egg on a Bagel, as well as a full lunch menu featuring gourmet sandwiches served with bagel chips and a kosher deli pickle.

The 2,800 square-foot cafe has seating for 40, giving people a “nice place to sit and relax,” says Rick.

The Goodmans moved to Traverse City from Chicago, where Big Apple Bagels–one of the nation’s largest retail chains&endash;is based.

Hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the weekend. They can be reached at 929-9866. BIZNEWS
