Everyday heroes are all around us. The scourge of the novel coronavirus brought many to the fore, from retail workers to medical professionals, restaurant workers and owners. But heroes abound everywhere: Teachers, mentors, friends, parents. Heroes perform simple acts of kindness, courage and love. They come in all ages, sizes and colors.
