Make Your Manufacturing LEANer
TRAVERSE CITY – Northwestern Michigan College's Training and Research with the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center will be hosting a special three-day seminar and workshop on Toyota Kata, the practice of supporting continuous improvement, adaptation, and enhanced results at any organization. The event is being held in Traverse City, September 28 through 30.
This seminar and workshop will provide opportunity for participants to get introduced to and practice the methods discussed in the book Toyota Kata by author Mike Rother.
What you can expect:
In the one-day seminar (September 28), attendees will learn how to influence the way everyone in your organization thinks, acts and reacts. The seminar is appropriate for any organization or leader searching for a better way to lead, manage and develop people, and to produce continuous improvement.
In the two-day workshop (September 29 through 30), attendees will learn by doing through hands-on practice at a local manufacturing facility.
The trainers leading the event? Trainer Beth Carrington, W3 Group Partner and Consultant who currently works with Mike Rother, author of Toyota Kata; and co-trainer Jason Schulist, chairman of the Michigan LEAN Consortium.
