David Boeve has been named vice president and commercial lender for Chemical Bank’s Traverse City office. He manages business and commercial banking accounts and is responsible for increasing deposit and loan amounts. He brings more than 11 years of experience in the industry, most recently as vice president, business banking with The Bank of Northern Michigan.
Elizabeth (Liz) Clarke has joined Traverse City State Bank as assistant branch manager at its downtown Traverse City location. She brings more than 15 years of banking experience in the Grand Traverse area.
Marilyn A. Crow, account manager at Pyramid Tax, Accounting & Consulting in Traverse City, has achieved her Enrolled Agent certification, the highest credential the Internal Revenue Service awards. She oversees payroll, accounting and tax preparation at Pyramid.
Richard Hutchinson has been named president of Hagerty in Traverse City. He oversees the company’s sales force, product design, underwriting and claims, marketing operations and strategic partnerships. He brings a 29-year tenure in the industry and experience in several leadership roles with the Progressive Corporation.
Charles K. Pittenger has joined Kindlinger & Company in Traverse City as small business manager. He has extensive experience in public accounting and was previously the controller for a local excavating company. His small business experience includes motels, restaurants, construction, vehicle dealerships and other professional firms.
Andrew R. Raymond has joined Kindlinger & Company in Traverse City as senior manager. A certified public accountant, he brings more than eight years of experience in accounting and assurance services covering a multitude of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, construction and homeowner associations. He also serves clients in the areas of individual, partnership and corporate taxation.
Jason Surratt has joined the commercial lending team at Honor Bank. Based in the Traverse City market, he is responsible for business development, including loan and deposit generation and community outreach. He has been in commercial banking for the last 14 years and in the banking industry for 16 years.
Nichole Thompson, a certified public accountant, recently joined the finance team at Bay Area Transportation Authority in Traverse City as assistant controller. Most recently, she worked in public accounting at Plante Moran in Traverse City.
Brandy VanAntwerp has been promoted to private bank associate in the Fifth Third Private Bank in Traverse City. She brings more than 15 years of customer service and management experience to he new position. Most recently, she was the customer service manager and assistant financial center manager at a Fifth Third Banking Center in Traverse City.
Misty Youngson has been named director of selection for the Traverse City office of Northwestern Mutual West Michigan. Her responsibilities include attracting individuals with talent, drive and ability to the company’s career opportunities. Most recently, Youngson was executive director at the Elk Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce.
State Savings Bank announces the following personnel new
Perry Adams has joined the bank as vice president and director of investments. He brings more than 25 years of investment experience to his new role, including 13 years in the Grand Traverse region. He is based at the bank’s investment management office at 216 Cass Street in downtown Traverse City.
Scott Ashurst has joined the bank as senior vice president of commercial lending. He brings 33 years of commercial lending experience to the position, including 29 years in the Grand Traverse region. He is based at the new State Savings Bank Loan Center at 416 E. Front in Traverse City.
Dan Druskovich has joined the bank as executive vice president. He brings more than 26 years of commercial lending experience to the position, including over 22 years in the Traverse City area. He is based out of the loan center at 416 E. Front Street in Traverse City.
Gary Hicks has joined the bank as vice president of investment and trust services. He brings more than 36 years of investment experience to State Savings Bank, including 30-plus years in the Traverse City region. He is based at the bank’s investment office at 216 Cass Street in downtown Traverse City.
Mary Mrozinski has joined the bank as senior vice president of cash management services. She brings more than 21 years of regional banking experience to State Savings Bank. For the past 15 years, she served as vice president of cash management services at another local bank. She is based out of the 216 Cass Street office.
Ryan Sterkenburg has joined the bank as executive vice president and director of investment and trust services. He brings more than 23 years of investment and trust experience to State Savings Bank, with more than 13 years in the Traverse City area. He is based at the 216 Cass Street location.
Eric Lingaur recently joined the Bay Area Transportation Authority as marketing and sales manager. He coordinates all marketing, communications and sales activities. He brings more than 12 years of marketing and communications experience, including a position with Oneupweb in Traverse City.
Lori Puckett has been named sales and marketing manager at the Courtyard by Marriott in Traverse City. She began working at the Courtyard in April 2014. She is responsible for group and corporate sales as well as marketing the hotel and its offerings. She previously worked for multiple media companies in management, marketing, promotions and sales.
Jill and Rex Holden, owners/physical therapists at FAST Physical Therapy in Traverse City, have recently completed training working toward the facility becoming a certified balance center. Chris Hurley, physical therapist, and Beth Dole, certified athletic trainer/clinical exercise specialist, also completed the training.

Eric R. Snyder, M.D. has joined the staff of Munson Medical Center as a specialist in otolaryngology. He is board certified and practices at Cass Street ENT Associates in Traverse City.
Gary Vann, PhD, marriage & family psychologist at the Center for Wellness & Relationships in Traverse City, recently completed training and certification in Mindfulness Based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which offers psychological treatment for depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, anger, addictions, obsessive compulsive disorder, as well as relationship conflicts in families and family-owned businesses.

Tracy Archer has joined Goodwill Northern Michigan as employment coordinator for the workforce development team. He is responsible for recruiting participants and building local business relationships to grow the job placement program. He is a former professional football player and youth sports coach and is currently earning a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from North Central University.
Kayla Condon has joined event management agency Events North in Traverse City as project coordinator. She manages client meetings and events.
Sally Eisele is the new general manager for Interlochen Public Radio News Radio and IPR Classical. She is a 30-plus-year veteran of the radio industry. She follows former General Manager Thom Paulson. Most recently, Eisele was the managing editor of WBEZ in Chicago.
Jeffrey Fulton has joined Safety Net in Traverse City as vice president of strategic accounts. He brings more than 30 years of information technology management experience having worked as vice president of information technology for both Time Incorporated and American Express Publishing. He is responsible for retention, management and growth of client accounts.
Tim Korson, a professional engineer, has joined roofing company Springfield Inc. in Kingsley. He brings more than 10 years of experience in consulting and engineering design. He has extensive experience in planning, engineering calculations, data analysis, process analysis, document control and project management.
Kim Koszyk has joined FastSigns in Traverse City as customer service manager. She brings 19 years of experience to her new position. Most recently she worked at Kwik Print, also in Traverse City.
Kurtis L. Pitcher is the new general manager/COO of the Traverse City Golf and Country Club. He has spent the last 20 years managing several of the top clubs in the Midwest.
